Indication Levofloxacin 750 mg :
- Acutes Sinusitis

- Community-Acquired Pneumonia
- Complicated Urinary Tract Infections Including Pyelonephritis
- Skin And Soft Tissue Infections
Dosage Levofloxacin 750 mg :
Once Or Twice Daily. Maximum Duration Of Treatment Of 14 Days.
Contra-indications Levofloxacin 750 mg :
- Hypersensitivity
- Epilepsy
- History of tendon disorders
Drug interactions Levofloxacin 750 mg:
- Iron salts
- Magnesium or aluminum containing antacids,/
- Sucralfate
- Theophyline
INTRODUCTION
Levofloxacin 750mg Tablet is an antibiotic, used in the treatment of bacterial infections in adults and children (>6months age). It is also used in treating infections of the urinary tract, nose, throat, skin and lungs (pneumonia). It cures the infection by stopping the further growth of the causative microorganisms.
Levofloxacin 750mg Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned.
