Contra-Indications Of  Cefoperazone 1000 Mg,Sulbactum 500 Mg Injection (RECOZON SL 1.5  Injection):

  • Hypersensitivity To Penicillins Or Cephalosporins 

Drug Interaction Of  Cefoperazone 1000 Mg,Sulbactum 500 Mg Injection (RECOZON SL 1.5  Injection):

  • Inactivate Aminoglycoside
  • Synergistic With Cephalosporins
  • Potentiates Anticoagulants

Side Effects Of  Cefoperazone 1000 Mg,Sulbactum 500 Mg Injection (RECOZON SL 1.5  Injection):

  • Allergic Reactions
  • Reversible Neutropenia
  • Transient Rise In Sgot,Sgpt
  • Anemia And Reduced Hematocrit

Dosage Of  Cefoperazone 1000 Mg,Sulbactum 500 Mg Injection (RECOZON SL 1.5  Injection):

 1.5 Or 3 Gm Every 12 Hrs.

What Is The Use Of Cefoperazone Injection?

Cefoperazone Is A Third-Generation Cephalosporin Antibiotic Used In The Treatment Of Infections Of Skin And Skin Structures, Respiratory Tract, Urinary Tract, Gynecological Infections Including Gonorrhea, Intraabdominal Infections, And Septicemia Caused By Susceptible Microorganisms.

What Is The Role Of Sulbactam?

Sulbactam Is A Β-Lactamase Inhibitor. This Drug Is Given In Combination With Β-Lactam Antibiotics To Inhibit Β-Lactamase, An Enzyme Produced By Bacteria That Destroys The Antibiotics.
